Rooted Kids Discipleship
As the founder of Rooted Kids Discipleship, Shatoyia Bradley is committed to building resources that support parents in their God-given call to disciple their children.
She is a follower of Jesus Christ and affirms the Bible as the inspired and infallible Word of God. She believes in one God (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) eternally existing in three persons. She holds that salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone (Ephesians 2:8–9).
She believes that Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man; the eternal Son who took on flesh, lived a sinless life, died for our sins, and rose again on the third day. He is the only way to the Father (John 14:6).
Rooted Kids Discipleship is committed to remaining Christ-centered and firmly rooted in Scripture.
Every resource is created with the prayer that it would be done for the glory of God (Colossians 3:17).
Meet the Founder
Shatoyia Bradley is a Christian homeschool mom of over 16 years, a mom of six, and an award-winning designer and business owner. Her work is shaped by years of homeschooling, parenting, and walking alongside families who desire to raise children grounded in Scripture and truth.
Through her own journey, Shatoyia recognized a growing gap between academic instruction and biblical discipleship. Many children were being educated, yet left vulnerable to secular worldviews that quietly undermine Christian discipleship. That burden led to the creation of Rooted Kids.
Shatoyia believes discipleship is not outsourced, it is a calling God gives to parents. Her heart is to equip families with tools that help children learn to think biblically, develop discernment, and remain rooted in Christ.
Vision & Mission
We envision families who understand Scripture as the foundation for all of life and who intentionally disciple their children to think biblically rather than just behave morally.
Rooted Kids Discipleship exists to help parents form homes where faith is integrated, not compartmentalized, and where children are taught to engage culture thoughtfully rather than fearfully.
Our vision is to see children grow into young adults who can recognize truth, discern falsehood, and articulate what they believe and why, standing firm in their faith with clarity, conviction, and humility as they follow Christ in a complex world.
We believe discipleship is not something children grow into later. It is something they are shaped by every day.
Many Christian families are faithfully teaching Bible stories, attending church, and emphasizing good values. And yet, a growing number of children are entering adolescence and adulthood without a clear lens for understanding truth.
They know what the Bible says, but they have not been taught how the Bible speaks to the world they encounter; stories, media, science, identity claims, and cultural narratives.
Rooted Kids Discipleship was created to address this gap.
